As we all know, these unprecedented times have changed many things. Much of our daily routine and social events have been “put on hold.” Because of this, the Warrior Will Foundation decided to pause our fund raising for the year of 2020, and finish getting our 501c3 tax exemption status. We were able to accomplish this with a huge thank you to the law firm of Smith, Dominelli and Guetti.

We have also had to reimagine our Bears, Books and Blankets event for its upcoming 5th year. Because of the pandemic, Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH) cannot take any outside items into the hospital. The month of February has 28 days and is recognized as American Heart Month. In honor of Will’s 28-month battle with congenital heart disease (CHD), we will be seeking donations in the amount of $28. This year’s version of Bears, Books and Blankets will start on February 1 and it will run for the entire month of February. The Warrior Will Foundation will total the donations and present that amount to Boston Children’s Hospital in Will’s memory. BCH will then purchase Bears, Books and Blankets for the children in the hospital on behalf of the Warrior Will Foundation.
